Michael Brownrigg, Chief of Staff

Michael Brownrigg is a ten-year council member in the City of Burlingame, including twice serving as Mayor. He also has over 20 years of investment experience, including global venture capital and as a co-founder of Total Impact Capital, one of the nation's first impact merchant banks. He also serves as an advisor to A&H Capital, which aims to drive wealth into workforces of color through expanding the use of employee-ownership models. In Burlingame, he serves on San Mateo County's affordable housing trust agency, HEART, and also on the region's waste management board, among other obligations. He brings to United Hope Builders financial discipline, organization, and a passion for making concrete progress on public policy challenges like affordable housing.
